In pursuance of the UGC notification No. F.6-1(II)/2006 (CPP-I) dated 13th September 2006, the name of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed University) has been changed to Sri Sathya Sai University (Established under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956) with effect from 2nd February, 2007.
