Introduction to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL)
SSSIHL promotes excellence through a system of Integral Education. The college adopts an education program in an environment that facilitates the students to develop a wholesome attitude to learning and a keen sense of engagement and service to the society.  The ultimate goal of the educational system is in keeping with the scriptural declaration “Sa Vidya Ya Vimukthaye” (True education is that which liberates). This enables the students to develop self reverence, self knowledge and self control and where Vigyan (Science) and Pragyan (Spirituality) are cultivated as part of an integral process.
The system of education in Sri Sathya Sai educational institution mirrors the ancient Gurukula system that was followed in India in the days of yore. The college combines academic excellence with character education. Equal emphasis is placed on the use of such knowledge towards serving the society, and equipping the students with the wisdom to lead their lives in a righteous and responsible manner. For example, teaching that the composition of water is H2O, is Education. Teaching the value of water and the proper way to use and conserve it is Educare. Both together deliver a balanced education.
 The Deemed University provides a climate for the development of character with enriched virtues and noble ideals. The system of education at SSSIHL is a holistic one that aims at drawing out the knowledge, values and wisdom that are present in a latent form in the student.Emphasis is placed on teamwork rather than on individual achievement. Students are encouraged to participate in community service projects that provide an opportunity to practice the values they learn in day-to-day life. This encourages students to understand their commitment and duty towards the society. The resulting unity in thought, word and deed leads to constant integrated awareness, enabling the body and the mind to operate in constant harmony with the heart.
