On 28th November 1978, The Chancellor laid the foundation-stone of the College of Arts, Science and Commerce at Prasanthi Nilayam by placing in the north-east corner nine precious gems (now Prasanthi Nilayam campus of the University).  The University's Administration office is located in Prasanthi Nilayam. The campus is  for men and it offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional courses. It also has special research facilities needed for the doctoral candidates in all the disciplines.
